GASOLEC UK Monochromatic Light - Orion Lighting System
Monochromatic Light has become a major factor in today's poultry management. GASOLEC UK supplies its light system exactly to the specification of the animal. The use of monochromatic light gives the farmer the opportunity to save money.

A simple calculation proofs that the use of the Gasolec light System leads to a 85% energy saving compared with standard incandescent lamps. Compared with fluorescent lamps the energy saving is about 50% (All comparisons are based on equal light intensity per sq.m.)
The lifetime of the GASOLEC UK Orion lamp is
approximately 10.000 hours. About 10 times more than an incandescent lamp.
The life time of the GASOLEC UK ORION electromagnetic adapter is approximately 90.000 hours, about 5 times more than an electronic adapter.

The IP34 System.
The GASOLEC UK Orion adapter. In combination with the special silicon fitting and the PCP cable, can be cleaned easily. However the sealing between lamp cover and adapter, is not 100% water resistance.
We therefore advise to remove lamp with adapter before cleaning the poultry house with a high pressure water pump..
After cleaning wait for 24 hours to make sure that the system is completely dry, before switching on the system again.

The IP54 System.
This system consists of a water tight fitting complete with a screw on type lamp cover.
This system Is completely watertight, and it enables you to clean the poultry house by using a high-pressure water pump.

Safety.
It is recommended to switch of the light system during cleaning periods.

General.
